Take the quieter road.
Country terrain, wooded routes, and scenery that rewards slowing down. The journey is part of the experience.

West Virginia
Rugged mountains. Dense forests. Quiet roads. Overlooks. Small towns.
The Appalachian landscape feels much farther away than it actually is. Once the expedition begins, the office feels a long way away.
A different world within reach
For teams and groups of friends throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, Baltimore, and the Mid-Atlantic, an Appalachian expedition offers a different kind of escape: a remarkable few days without making a distant destination the whole point.
Our planning begins around Shepherdstown and West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle, with the surrounding Appalachian countryside shaping the character of each journey. The final meeting point and itinerary are tailored to your departure.

The Appalachian setting

Not every moment needs to be filled. A pause in the right place can be the part everyone remembers.
Time together that is not squeezed between the usual obligations. Trips are private with 10 or more attending guests; groups with fewer than 10 may be paired with another group.
Each departure is planned around suitable terrain, authorized vehicle access, your guests, and the conditions. Photography and edited campaign scenes illustrate the setting and experience; they do not establish access permissions or guaranteed stops. Your proposal distinguishes riding, transfers, camp locations, and any other activities.
